I have always loved the rag dolls. My mother and her sister,Clara made Rag dolls and sold them back in the 60's. It was not unusual to come home from school and see dozens of legs,arms and half=stitched faces. Clara would come and bring the clothes that she had made and they would dress them and get them ready to sell. They were so happy just doing their thing together. My mother had one of ourrag doll shirts on the day she died in the nursing home.
